Ok , I know to some of you, Im going to sound as if Im the old fashioned , stick in the mud parent but.....I have to voice my opinion about this subject. First, there are a lot of little boutique stores that I follow on Facebook, and I really like them. But , I have to say that some of these dresses that girls are modeling , and the dresses I actually see girls out wearing are just too dang short. I see girls and women wearing dresses that should actually have pants on underneath them. Ive even bought items before that were meant to be worn alone but nooo, there is no way Im going to wear it without something underneath. I mean really. Mothers and fathers, we need to think about this seriously. When you allow your daughter to walk out the door wearing these outfits that are not exactly appropriate, do you know who is looking at them. Everyone! If thats what you want then ok but would you actually like me to tell you what some of the guys and men are thinking while they stare? If you look at it that way, its a little scary and disgusting. Lets just go ahead and put it bluntly. Do you want guys and older men looking at your daughter , thinking how much they would like to see more. I realize I may have opened a can of worms but as a mother of boys only , I may only be able to see this side but I have always prayed that my boys end up with girlfriends that care about themselves but are modestly dressed. I pray thats who they marry also because then I know thats what they will teach their own daughters. Ok , Im done.
