Ok I must clear up this name thing. My name is Mike, not Michael (well, my birth name was Michael, just to be confusing, Ive been Mike for as long as I can remember) I changed this FB Profile to Michael several months back to try and distinguish it from my FB Page Mike Dawes, which is my name, both professional and personal. Since changing this profile Ive seen/heard a bunch of things online, in print and in person that have involved strangers calling me Michael, which of course is understandable, but it feels a bit like Im 6 and in trouble with my Mum. So yeah, my own fault for changing this Profile to Michael I guess, I should have changed it to some sort of far removed anonymous mid-2000s chatroom tag. I may still do that, although I think Ive reached the max number of changes. Thanks for listening lovely people, if you could call me Mike next time we meet that would be amazing. Or just point and make weird noises. To any work/press/promotion type friends on here, anything to do with music is Mike Dawes.
