Ok, I must, just MUST say this as I hardly ever see a post like what Im about to write. Im not angry, more along the lines of an eye rolling type of thing. I see & read so many posts about complaints...BUT..... its complaining about what others post. So this post itself is kinda like that too but I ask you to look past that & pull forth the message. So many people whine about what everyone else is posting & how they dont wish to read or see others dirty laundry. Umm.....then dont! Hide them or block them altogether. Surely they didnt need me to tell them this. Also, I for one, feel no shame in posting my personal complaints/less-than-lucky, dramatic, & ridiculous experiences with my kids, husband, college, ailments, etc. Im not going to allow anyone to make me feel ashamed either. I have always been a shockingly (to the majority) open person & at 36.5 yrs old, honey, I aint about to change. I am a realist. I REALIZE, acknowledge, & accept that my life is not roses & butterflies. Thus, I post from REAL life issues & events. I hate that some of you live in land of homemade crap. You seem to detest what others post or do while seemingly not giving any weight to their plight, convictions, or strengths. By this, for example, lets use me. I am an open & honest person. It is a strength...a virtue that I am proud of. I can understand & respect your comfort zone but dont you dare try to inflict the same circumference on others. To some, FB (& other social media), has become a way of psychoanalyzation as feedback is often given & received. Feedback, advice, replies, etc. For some, social media is more than a casual outlet but a vivid interaction with peers. I think that maybe...this is where the differences & opinions about those differences conflict. If people want to share their workouts & weight loss journey, let them. If people want to whine about being ill (guilty), let them. If people want to carry on about whatever, its their FB. You are also free to keep whining too but just give a thought about this message. Analyze why you feel the need to take control of everyone elses posts & the need to call everyone out in a generalized mass execution of statuses. In other blunt words, shut the hell up about what others post. Its THEIR Facebook & you are granted the wonderful opportunity to hide them, block them, or unfriend them. Or...you can even scroll through your feed & IGNORE those posts. Now go have a nice day. 😉 I digress...
