Ok....I read a series of books some years ago and I am trying to remember the name of at least one so that I can start getting them for my grandson. The books are about a macabre brother and sister who are children orphaned by their parents. The girl wears striped black and white tights and has long black hair. The stories are along the lines of the Addams Family or Tim Burton.....one is about them creating a bizarre zoo. The books are less than an inch thick. I got one at Barnes & Noble and then gave it away.....I kick myself. If anyone has read these or knows the names, please let me know. It is NOT the Lemony Snicket series.
