Ok. I read the other day how a salad costs more to buy than junk food. Today I felt as though I had to sit down and eat something. Went to a Michels which was the only sit down place in the shopping centre. Ordered a single cut multi grain roll with cheese and salad plus beetroot (being really good without butter or salt and pepper). She added it all up on the cash register and said $10.70. I said pardon!!! She said again $10.70 so I said for a cheese salad roll? I ended up with a vegie pasty with sauce for $4.40. What the .......
