Ok I talked to our vet today Tally will be staying in the hospital until Saturday morning. I have off on Saturday so I will be home with him. He will stay on the pain medication and possibly an anti anxiety med for a bit to help keep calmer. I love our vet. She is taking excellent care of him. He is resting and doing ok. His tail is wiggling and that is a good thing. He is going to have to stay more than quiet when he comes home. She said he can go outside and back in thats about it. It shall prove to be interesting.
