Ok I went to her vet and got Stormies Test results. She crashed on 5/14/11 1. She is 7 years old 2. She weighs 46 lbs 3. Her Percorten shot was 1.8 and slowly moved to 1.6 for at least 8 months or more. 4. She was on Prednison for a short while after she crashed. The vet at the CLINIC (Highly recommended ) said she does not need to be on it. 5. Sometime in Oct or Nov things started to change as in vomiting and diarrhea more than any normal dog would have. 6. So I decided to start logging her accidents etc. Noticed that most of her issues where about 3-4 days after her shot and seemed to continue on and off all month long. Jan not many issues , Feb. Mar. Ap etc just got worse and worse. 7. June 16th I took her back to the Clinic . The vet ran blood work and said she needs to be back on 1.8 Percorten and Prednison @10mg b.i.d x2 weeks, then 10 mg once a day times 2 weeks (a.m. dose) then 10 mg e.o.d. for maintenance. Also Metronidazole @ 250 mg b.i.d. x 2 weeks. 8. On 7/3/14 back to her regular doctor with all the new info faxed to him. It was her shot day she received 1.8 Percorden and he suggested to start on Prednison nothing was said about the Metronidazole medication. ( I did not receive a copy of the visit to the clinic). By July 14th she has been none stop drinking , peeing at least 3-4 times in the middle of the night and cant even count how often during the day. Vomiting and diarrhea none stop. So now feel free to ask or suggest.
