I need someone who can work independently PT -8-10 hours a week; make your own hours BUT some must be during traditional work day due to insurance contact/calls; MUST be experienced 3 + YEARS hands on billing and INSURANCE COLLECTION experience; coding experience very helpful but not necessary; knowledgable in navigating an EMR/PA billing system; MUST be available to come to my office for some hands on training and appeal management; Must be highly aware of HIPPA requirements and internet security compliance while connected to our server; primary care/clinic UB billing; reviewing A/R in excel and other formats; willing to generate reports independently; calling insurance companies for status of claims and appeals; professional phone presence; may have billing inbound calls routed to your phone if needed; hourly wage negotiable depending upon experience, but keep in mind the freedom of making your own hours and working (for the most part) from home is taken into account.
