Ok, Im out of hospital now. Had many visits from many Drs and had similar stories from all of them. They keep telling me that Ive probably burst a cyst or two, which is what I told them when I was admitted. My createnine is up to 467 My eGFR is down to 12% from 19-20% My urea levels were up and so too were my potassium levels. Stopped passing blood after 10 days. Abdomen was overcrowded due to swelling of both kidneys. Causing shortness of breath and irregular heart beat. They talked about stopping Noten, but they decided against it and instead theyve added another high powered pain med which name alludes me right now. The verdict; keep swimming, keep up with the diet, keep on keeping on as there is nothing that can be done right now. There was talk of starting dialysis but the risks outweigh the benefits at this point in time. Im supposed to keep on until my createnine, gets up to around the 800-1000 point, My eGFR gets down to 5% and I just cant function anymore before they put me on dialysis. This may take another 5years if I look after my health and diet. It sucks, I know, but in the end, Im doing all there is I can physically and mentally do. It is me doing this and not the Drs. They simply here to monitor and learn. There is a wonderful woman that pushes me along and teaches me the importance of resilience and fortitude and does her best to keep me on track and that person is Lesa. She doesnt have to do any of these things but shes always there for me...bloody good woman if there ever was one.
