I wanted to know why my father stopped calling her Obim as he used to. I did want to know why my mom emaciated. She was never really fat though, but she wasnt this thin either. Most of her clothes were now misfits. The lightness of her body, the way her evening dresses hung on her like clothes merely pegged to lines, those were enough to say all things werent well. Mama was going through a lot, and I needed to know what. Three days earlier, I had found some divorce papers in my dads drawer. He called out for me from the living room before I could read through them. Please what are your thoughts?
