Two of John Fords finest movie soundtracks composed by Cyril Mockridge for the first time available on CD! I love the way Mockridge (at Fords prompting) included in the score for The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance the Ann Rutledge theme by Alfred Newman. It perfectly evokes a sense of lost love, of an entire past, really, lost in the river of time. I havent bought a CD in a long time, but I will be making this exception.
