Ok. Serious talk and a seriously sweet story following. Ive always thought I could do this parenting thing alone perfectly. But the past few years its been a struggle with his behavior and I knew something wasnt right. I tried change after change in what I was doing until recently I realized I needed to get him professional help in order to be a good mother. So he is in counseling. Noah has been through the end of an abusive marriage, a nasty divorce and custody battle and tossed back an forth from houses because of the court order, he has been through 2 deployments and multiple moves and a new brother and starting school. That. Is. A lot. Anyways... We are working with him and so far it seems to be the answer. Its helping us as parents and him grow up and release whatever negativity that was stored in his sweet little head. So sweet story. Guys... I almost ugly cried right in this office but held it back because it was Noahs time to talk. He was doing this activity with the therapist where his bubble was in the center and all his relationships with people were other bubbles.... And he got to pick how close the bubbles were to him. All the bubbles were fairly far away. Except when it came to mine. He literally said really close. Ontop of mine. An pointed to his bubble. She put mine NEXT to it and he argued with her and said NO! ONTOP! And pointed again. You guys. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Ive been doing things right.
