Ok. So I have to say something. I get frustrated with movie critics. I have been reading online what they are saying about the movie Left Behind starring Nicolas Cage. It is all negative. I went to go see it tonight and I personally thought it was well done and was closer to reality and the books. (By the way, critics hated the matrix and that is why I was sceptical of the movie before I saw it and when I saw it, I liked it). It is interesting that because it is a Christian movie it gets a bad review but 2012 the movie was praised and everyone thought that was going to happen. Come on people. I know a lot of people are going to argue with me when I say this but I believe this to be a true future event. Again people are going to get mad but remember this is a fictional book based off of possible future events. Do I believe 100% these books portray that event? No because no one knows exactly what that time in history is going to be like. We dont have all the information. So here is a challenge to everyone who reads this comment, whether you are a Christian or not, or believe this view of Scripture or not, ask yourself how would you react if this was true and those things happen? Put yourself in each character shoes. And before you criticize how the movie is,maybe read the books. We read and talk about other books as though they were real and have no problem. Give it a chance. I dont care if you dont like it. There are movies out there that were popular and even some of the Biblical movies from this past year that i didnt agree with and I still had discussion based off of movies and they made me think. Go watch the movie and if you like to read, read the series. It became a number 1 New York best seller for a reason. That is all I want to say and if anyone wants to go see the movie with me, I am up for going again and having a discussion afterwards. Thanks and dont let the critic sway you from watching this movie. Even tell me what you think after you watch it.
