++Ok, So Long-Story-Short : I love PHOTOGRAPHY, and... I recently, and finally found a Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera on the net in pristine condition. I now own it. If you are unfamiliar, Steve Jobs was inspired by the depth in which the design came to life for this 1970s instant camera.. Cut to today. Polaroid discontinued the manufacturing of Polaroid 600 instant film which this camera takes.. Then the masses went wild.. Cut to more today of today. An entrepreneur bought the manufacturing workflows, equip, etc to keep this gem of history alive. It is different then the original but nonetheless still amazing despite the fact that the film is now grossly overpriced. Cut to now. I recently received my first pack of 8!, only EIGHT pieces of instant film in Black & White flavors.. It cost me about $40 shipped to my doorstep in the dark, wet, jungle.. At $5 a pop, its difficult to decide when to depress the shutter release button.. What would I shoot? Why am I shooting it? etc.. are questions I ask myself as 8 expensive ass images sit in nothing but potential creation.. Then it came to me.. This is not for ME! This is for you! The satisfaction I get from handling this piece of photographic history is enough for me but what it creates is for you.. SO... In the epic GIFTAWAY III, not only am I going to GIFT 3 GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition cameras but also the set of all EIGHT polaroid images. Every single one will be totally unique and ONE-OF-A-KIND. This first theme will be ATHENA in 8 locations, all Black & White, all via the Polaroid SX-70, and all one-of-one images. I will not copy, scan or ever see them again once they head your way.. Hope you enjoy. PS: I just shot the first image and it is 100% unique and amazing to say the least!~ All Polaroids will also contain a small note written in gold or silver ink with my thoughts for the day, moment in time when the image was created.. *vanishes back into the dark, wet, jungle*
