Ok So here is my opportunity, Tell me what you think. I have had a kiosk at my local mall for almost the last 3 yrs but due to some renovations, the fire marshal says the spot is no longer suitable for Kiosk or cart, and we need to move. The mall has only Carts available and at $1000 per month, its a pretty big savings, from the $2500 per month we are paying, however its considerable downsizing. So what I am thinking is just do a Cart very near where my kiosk was, AND a brick and mortar store. I found this place, 3.1 miles from thefront door of my home, on hwy 74, a pretty busy hwy into charlotte, that sees 75k cars a day. The landlord says she has to get at least a 1 yr lease, ( I told her I thought that reasonable enough, and I didnt laugh) She is willing to give me 6 weeks to get open, with free rent, and hasnt raised anyones rent in 6 yrs. She told me, if I renewed, my rent will always be 1500 per month. I am thinking of some gawdy Orange and green cell phone colors on the walls, faux painted floors, 4 glass cases of phones, tons of John Cellsupplyshop cases, a wall somewhere with a repair room in the back for Joe Lee Waller III and some phone repairs. Of course our name would be on the pole sign, and I could feather it up and sign the building pretty much how I want. What do you think?
