Ok. So lets look at this Ukraine thing a little more deeply. Ask yourself, why is the Crimea in particular of such importance to Russia? Why wont the Europeans get involved in stopping Russia? Well, Europe gets about 60% of its natural gas from Russia and the pipeline runs right through .... Crimea. Thats why the Europeans wont do anything. Putin will turn their gas off. But lets think a little deeper still. What policies here at home (that Conservatives espoused) could have forestalled this problem? What if .... Obama hadnt been standing in the way of our production of natural gas and oil? First, we would have been able to supply Europe so that Russia wouldnt have the leverage of being able to cut them off and take them out of the strategic equation. Second, just think! If we were supplying all of Europe with natural gas ... what would that do for our economy, our jobs, our DEBT. Think of all the taxes that would flow into the coffers from all the profits and all the new workers and the higher salaries. Every single Obama policy has led to more indebtedness, less jobs, more weakness both economically and strategically (because the two are tied together). With one policy change ... he could have changed our whole economy for the better and taken the strategic upper hand away from Putin.
