Ok, Taylor Janell gave us a pretty good list so instead of voting, Im going to make an executive decision. I realize if we were all to vote on different things, it would take away from being in a book club, which is supposed to broaden your literary taste and open your mind to new ideas. Since this is the case, well have one person select a new book every few (Im thinking 3-4) weeks. So for our first book, I choose: Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami Id like to engage in thoughtful discussion through the group page, but Id also like to meet in person with those living nearby. Try and get the book--the latest-- by the weekend so we can start our party. woo.
