Ok a scenario: As most know, I have 9 prairie dogs that are all - TopicsExpress

Ok a scenario: As most know, I have 9 prairie dogs that are all quasi wild, due to my set up. I can still love on them a lot but cannot take them away from their outside enclosure or the burrow of the indoor cage without a ferret bag…… 3 live inside and 6 are outside, that do come in at night sometimes. The 3 inside were born outside and brought in after about two months or so. The 3 inside ones are not as tame as the others. There is one though, Baby, that is still wild as hell. I have worked with her some but she has been regressing over the past several months. She yahoos when I make noise or call them and can pet her sometimes. But, she will also turn on a dime and attack my fingers and NOT let go. SO,,, is it possible to have a prairie dog that is just not meant to be a pet? I am wanting to put her back outside with the others and yes they have all been together in the house. If I do that I will probably not be able to get her out again without losing a finger. Kinda confused.sorry so long.
