Ok, a semi-odd status so bear with me. As some of you know, I had hoped that my baby would have auburn or red hair. I thought Jim and I had a pretty good chance of producing one. Well, the Bud was born with light brown hair but I did not lose hope. Since he became a beard grower I noticed that I would sometimes detect a golden, reddish glow from his facial hair. Well, I recently I had proof in my hands. I was tidying up and came across a stray beard hair that caught my eye: one end was auburn and the other end was flaming orange ginger. The red hair allele has been passed down! Woohoo!
