Ok, apart from venting my spleen about the CNN news that I alwats see as an insomniac-and believe me I always see it first-would like to share some of my selfish , positive thoughts. -Flew the Minister of Justice of Vanuatu back from Tongoa today ( no AH or gyro-but you don`t really need it)then hopped out the plane at short notice-jumped into a twin and flew a farther 3 hours. -But had to walk half an hour to a village-take control of a business deal-organise a truck to be loaded with sandal wood-drove 15 minutes to the plane-loaded it-flew to Vila and landed with 10 minutes to spare(sunset set in) Was a good pilots day. The first pilot to fly a twin for Air taxi and to make money on the inaugural flight of YJ-AL 1 The best part is I actually got thanked for a good days work. It always amazes me how a little bit of gratitude contributes to morale. -....sidenote-so glad i left the other company. Assholes.
