Ok, back to the QAL live sound, Par Can, Crystal Taylor, Gavin Ross, Dario Blues Di Nardo. When seeing videos, it seems that the sound/mix was perfect. But when I am there in person, I hear it not like that...thats strange. I stood at that position where the video was taken (but the day before) and I thought there was much too much guitar and too much vocal and I hardly could hear the band...but according to the video I would say: As it should be. Strange.... I dont like the sound of this new set....only PlopPlopPlop instead of a Queen style BOOOMBOOM when hitting the toms....:( Do you like it? Why did he choose it? On the other gig I stood in front of Adam in front of the Near Fills on stage. And all I could hear out of these was Adams voice and sometimes backing vocals. So at that position there was nearly no guitar....so: a bad mix in general. Dont know if the mixing guy will ever get notice of this....its very odd.... I will never get, why audio engineers think that only vocals have been mixed to the Near Fills....also stereo mixing makes no sense for most of the audience. But it still happens....:( So Clair Brothers audio system might be the best you can get, but for my taste, I do exactly know what to change to make the sound and mix more satisfying to a larger part of the crowd...
