Ok folks, I am getting rather frustrated with Facebook, I promise - TopicsExpress

Ok folks, I am getting rather frustrated with Facebook, I promise this is my last rant on this topic... for a while... at least! When I first started this venture my intent was Backyard Diva for fun, friends and family.. Things went crazy just over a year and a half ago; previous to Facebook asking for payment. At that time every post was seen by everyone that liked my page. All that being said there was a huge request for me to start a website - which I did, and these arent free! Next thing you know.. I was so busy I made a decision to quit my horrible office job and per-sue what I love full time - I was selling seeds, garden decor locally and earning from affiliate links.. I wasnt making near what my office job provided, but the smile on my face - priceless. THEN.. BAM, Facebook changed ALL the rules.. so just one time I did pay them $100 as they requested to show my post to at least 25,000 people, this was a waste of hard earned money for me. You see I have to hand pick and package a lot of seeds, sand and paint a lot of wood to make $100!!! I do work with a local heirloom seed farm for the seeds I sell.. I do love what I do, but I have three kids and wowsers they are expensive. I am just explaining that I am having a very difficult time lately with how facebook is running things, I do count on my Seed shop sales on my website for an income as well as the affiliate links also on my website. I have actually been looking for a part time job locally just to fill the gap.. Not something I want to do, but I spend so much time looking for information to post on my website and on facebook, I just cant continue to spend so much time, with no earnings. Please do not take this the wrong way, I hope I havent offended anyone... It would be very helpful to me if you took the time to scroll around every now and then on my page wall and like, comment & share posts (this helps direct more traffic to my website and webstore, affiliate links etc). If you are planning on making an amazon purchase, please visit my website and click the sidebar link to search your items.. This small affiliate program really helps pay the monthly fees to run the website. And... if you need seeds please visit my seed shop! Thank you for the support folks! backyarddiva.ca
