Ok folks, we have a treat in store for you! Augie will be serving a very special menu in tribute to the late great Illinois Chef Charlie Trotter. He was an amazing chef who served as a source of inspiration to so many in the Midwest. In honor of Chef Trotter, Chef Mrozowski will be serving the following 5 Course meal, this Friday October 15, 2013. Tribute to Chef Charlie Trotter amuse bouche course one Belgium Endive, Frisee, Watercress, crispy potato and potato cream course two Mushroom Noodles with Vermouth and braised lettuce sauce course three Marinated Scallops with Horseradish Potatoes mustard oil and parsley juice course four Rabbit and Braised Turnip Lasagna with sweet pea sauce course five Apple and Creme Brulee Napolean green tea creme anglaise and apple juice Reservations are highly recommended.
