Ok, for all of you who heard this or that about me, Ill give it to you as best as I could; I guess you can call this my personal 9/11 - and how ironic, it started on 9/11!!! Anyway, here goes; it started out as me going to see a Cardiologist over a crazy heartbeat. As I get there and Im getting checked out, the doctor, sounding really grim, looks at his nurses and says I dont like his EKGs, call 911, have him rushed to the hospital!!! Along with this, his aides put an oxygen mask on me while hes asking me all kinds of questions. Two minutes later, the FDNY (along with police and the FDNY EMS) come busting in (and all this resulting from a simple doctors appointment). After this, there comes this huge debate over which hospital I should be sent to, but since there were no paramedics available at that time, the doctor wasnt allowing me to be transferred. (After all, since the EMTs who were there didnt have EKG monitors, if something was to happen to me, then the doctor would have been responsible.) Following a huge hour-long debate as to which hospital I should go to, it was finally agreed on that I should go to Staten Island South (some emergency huh lol, and mind you, I went to the doctors office on my own strength). I was admitted and I had to stay overnight to have my heart tested. Without going into details, I was diagnosed with A-fib and high blood pressure. I was then sent home (on my birthday, yay) with some medical prescriptions. Since I dont feel like becoming someones overgrown medicine cabinet, does anyone know of any blood-pressure-reducing foods? To all my believing brothers and sisters in Christ, all prayers are accepted in Jesus name, and for all the non-believers who see this, just know that I love yall in Jesus name!!!
