FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 20, May 2014 Organisation of African Youth, Condemns the Death of ten years old Ramsey Zuboi of Sayon Town: Monrovia, Liberia--- Organisation of African Youth (OAYouth), a continental youth body registered in South Africa as an NPO, registration number 079-131-NPO. The organisation was formed in 2009 and has succeeded to empower, unify and represent young people in Africa; building and bringing together young thought leaders to confront common problems that affect Africa today. OAYouth is a body of dedicated young people, determined to transform Africa through grassroots programs driven and powered by youth, building young leaders of the 21st century. Ramsey Zuboi was on Wednesday March 26, 2014 discovered dead in an old cell phone booth in the Sayon Town Community on the Bushrod Island. According to information gather, Ramsey along with his little sister had gone to spent two weeks with their Aunty Madam Theresa Harris of the same community, where he met his untimely death. It was reported that Ramsey Aunty (Theresa) had send him to buy peanut butter while cooking and since he left, didn’t return causing the aunty (Theresa) to speedily search through the community with concerns only for him to be discover about 11: 21 PM by some passerby due to the oozing bad odor from a booth known as (Real Madrid Business Center) hanging from an electric wire. The owner of the booth Morris Flomo as reported by the Informer newspaper said his booth for the past six (6) month has not been operating due to confusing among shareholders in the business. It can be recorded that similar incident was the case of little Angel Togba, Teenecee Doe and Alvin David in 2007 which occurred under questionable circumstances, and as such, required serious investigation by the government. Little Angel Togba was said to have died by allegedly hanging herself, while Teeneece Doe was allegedly murdered in New Kru Town and Alvin David, allegedly kicked to death on Newport Street on Christmas day. Today we are also sending a resounding call for speedily Justice in the remaining case of the Late Alvin David and Teenecee Doe; OAYouth takes the death of these young children seriously and demands justice from the government. Finally, we call on the police to make public, reports surrounding the two previous deaths; and it has been over a month since they promised to furnish us with reports surrounding the recent Ramsey Zuboi case. We believe the Liberian Government owe the family of Ramsey Zuboi a speedily investigation detailing confirmed cause of death and why a hasty Burial without full autopsy.
