Ok, for the past 4 days now, Ive been drugged up with Nyquil, non-aspirin, tea with honey & cough drops (minus the whiskey because of the Nyquil) & have been only as far as the bathroom then back to bed...Id thought that Id gotten the flu-mist 2 weeks ago to prevent anything like this from happening! I dont wish this on my worst enemy. I can handle the fever, nausea, dry heaving, chills, minor body aches (thats becoming a norm, as I get older). Normally, Id pop some Dayquil, non-aspirin, wash it down with some OJ & Im good to go! But, this has to be the worst flu that Ive EVER had! The worst part was the muscle aches down to the bones. Where each movement felt like a vise was being tightened on every muscle making it excruciating & unbearable! Just overall, crappiness! The timing couldnt be at its worst, a week before Christmas. Id felt so bad when my baby, Sweetie M. Davis, calls me & says, alright now, I dont want to come home & all of yall are coughing up your germs on me......the grandbabies got the crud, too! Cherise went to school to have lunch with Santa but Bougar stayed home from Daycare on Tuesday because his fever spiked to 101.3. Papa came to the rescue & stayed with both of us. He & Anthony took care of us, as best they could...but, the tree or the house isnt decorated & so much needs to be done & I know at work theyre probably freaking out because I hadnt gone in for the past couple of days. Its not like I could, but you know corporate types they dont care...all they care about is the bottom line. Id like to give them a presentation utilizing my phlegm, used tissue, empty medicine boxes & add some vomit for color. That may get their attention....if not gross them out.
