Ok girls here it goes: My Sunday Best I’m learning and learning very quickly that finding yourself isn’t something that happens over night or something that can happen over a week. It takes time, and sometimes you’ll go back five steps and one step forward. There’s no age limit on finding yourself either, so don’t be so hard on yourself if your in mid-20’s or mid-30’s or mid-40’s – whatever your age is – it doesn’t matter. Finding yourself means knowing who you are, what you want, and what you’re going to do with this knowledge. Nothing is simple, and nothing is easy. But this is life and we have to learn to be Zen. All of life’s rough waters will tear us apart if we allow it too – so now we can try to be the rock that stays grounded and let’s the water go around it. This doesn’t mean that you give up when things do move you. You stay strong. I know that sounds clique – but seriously. I’m learning that it is possible to start fresh. I mean, clean slate free – happy go lucky clean. And I’m going to be taking you on my journey to self-discovery and sharing all the ups and downs. We are alone if we don’t let others in and allow them to help us and somehow along the way, we’ll help them or someone else without even knowing it. xx
