Ok guys, Ive always bought my flies due to lack of fly tying equipment but would like to start tying my own. Ive ordered a fly tying kit that includes: C clamp vice Threader Scissors Bodkin Hackle Pliers Spigot Bobbin Whip finish tool Now to be quite honest, Im not even sure what most of these tools do! Im brand new to the game. Now heres what Id like to ask: Id like to start off by tying flies such as pheasant tail and hares ear nymphs (most of my fly fishing is with nymphs) What materials do I require and where is a good place to start learning?
