Ok guys and gals who have a smart phone...did anyone know theres a mapmyride app for gps-ing your trail rides? I just downloaded it and am anxious to try it out next time I ride...whenever that might be! Got on Miss Kitty yesterday for about 10 mins after my student was done. Dont know WHO Im going to ride this summer just yet. I lost Lucky Long-legs to colic on 12-30. Then 3 days later I put down my haflinger, Fat Jack who had been in pain from high ringbone for quite awhile. When Lucky went down during colicking, I ALSO went down and he stumbled over my right leg, injuring it with many BAD confusions. Yesterday was the 1st time my leg felt good enough to get on a horse. My ankle still swells everyday, but goes down at night. I have a choice of several other horses at my farm, but probably wont be riding Miss Kitty...she will be ridden by my student. Guess its time I get out and start riding some of the others! 1 OTTB mare, 3 STB driving horses (1 more, 2 geldings), or my little Arab, Dusty. Decisions, decisions!
