Ok guys just an update on membership. The following trades and service providers have already or primarily been booked. Computer services, House Clearances, Landscape gardeners, Cakes and Baking, Builder, Wood floor suppliers, Electrician, Aerial and Sat installations, Estate Agent to name a few.. FIRSTLY:- This is a non profit making networking club and any monies held in credit at the end of each financial year will be handed to a local charity. This will be done by way of a vote by members at the Xmas party in December. The Worthing Business Club will only enrol one service provider or tradesman from each trade unless a mutual agreement between both parties and the committee have been attained. There is an annual membership fee of £95.00 per year. Membership allows your company to send its nominated employee or a nominated visitor to our monthly meetings for an informal networking meeting usually held on a Friday evening, currently being held at The Black Horse in Findon. (Location may change due to numbers attending). A monthly meeting fee of £10.00 is payable upon the night by way of cash (till we get a machine) This will cover the cost of the buffet and hire charges etc. (However seeing as we are in the early stages of booking venues and unknown membership, this could be slightly higher or lower). Monthly meetings will be announced on the web and FB pages giving a months notice. We aim to make the evening a Friday so people can come along and relax and enjoy the meets. We do not do Formal/Suit and Tie style meets. There is no agreed formal agenda, and you wont be asked to stand up in front of everyone and talk shop! unless you want to that is. We aim to have guest speakers and people of interest to visit us on our evenings, along with the fun stuff too like karting and visiting the shooting range for instance on our Jollies. The club aims to get like minded business owners all in one place on a set evening to get to know each other and gain useful work contacts and get the work coming in! Users will also have the benefit of posting their blogs and other work related snippets of info etc on our website and have the ability to post ads and pictures of their work on our Facebook page. Spamming will not be tolerated! any repetitive posts will be removed and poster will be asked to jazz it up a bit. Use it to promote your business!!
