Ok guys so its Thursday and as promised I will let you all in on what Ive been doing this week to assist with my weight loss Journey. This is a 3 day weight loss plan or diet and I say diet because it is something that you can only do for a short period of time....it is not long term and does not give long term results....only a lifestyle change will do that. This is the 3 Day Military Diet where you can lose up to 10 lbs in just 3 days!!! It is designed for you to eat very specific foods 3 times a day over the course of 3 days. The way the diet supposed to work is the foods you eat chemically react with each other in the body to boost metabolism and help you lose weight. People typically will do this diet for 3 days lose up to 10 lbs then for the next 4 days eat healthy sensible meals with some exercise and repeat the the 3 day diet again after the 4 days are up. With this diet you possibly can lose up to 40 lbs in 1 month. Again Im emphasizing up to because the results vary from person to person. I read up on it online and even watched a few videos on YouTube to get peoples feedback and experiences from the diet. Since many people were reporting 6lb to 10lb weight loss in just 3 days I decided to give this a try and pass along to you guys my experience. Let me start out with the PROS of the diet: Most of the foods you have to eat are most likely already in your house. Its easy to prepare the meals ahead of time and take on the go. Its only 3 days. There is not a lot of cooking involved. You dont have to exercise on this diet unless you want to or feel you have the energy to. You get to drink a lot of water! You will lose some weight (how much will vary from person to person) Now for the CONS....the foods you have to eat are very unorthodox in terms of what we may consider healthy foods. You may feel like you are not getting enough to eat. The results you get will not last if you overeat and/or eat too much of the bad foods on the other 4 days. You are not guaranteed to lose 10lbs. You are not recommended to make any substitutions. Here are my results: I only lost 2.2 lbs (Bummer!) I followed the diet as planned, but I was a lil too anxious to see if I was losing weigh so after the 3rd day (lastnight) I weighed myself and Id only lost 2 lbs. This morning it was a mere 2.2lbs. Overall Im a lil disappointed but hey Ill take the 2 lbs. I know the difference between a quick weight loss plan and clean eating practices so I guess I cant be too disappointed. The reason I may not have lost as much weight is because I may not have as much excess fat to lose whereas someone else who may have a higher body fat percentage may lose more. Maybe I didnt drink enough water. I did not work out (but I did this on purpose just to see the results of the diet alone). I have before pics but no after because my cameraman wasnt feeling good this morning :( After doing my measurements from Monday to Thursday I lost .75 in my waist and .50 in my lower abs. All my other measurements remained the same. Below are the links that spell out what the diet is about as well as what you have to eat. Feel free to search 3 day military diet on YouTube for testimonials and also do more research. These are just my results but you have to decide for yourself if its worth your time and effort. Remember quick weigh loss plans are only for emergencies or boosters to an already healthy lifestyle they will not sustain you but if you need to get beach body ready fast or have a wedding/special occasion coming up soon, there are some safe and effective ways to slim down quick. I will continue to bring you all things I feel can help because I know that we all lose weight differently and we all have different methods/preferences.
