Ok here is my Christmas 2014 story.....I woke up Christmas Eve morning and was wearing the sensor so I checked to see what my sugar was and my esc button was not working....button error I have never experienced this before so I called Medtronic and they said my pump is currently not working because a button has been active for more than three minutes. Since the next day was Christmas a new pump could not be shipped until Friday. So I had to spend Christmas Eve on the phone with doctors offices and Medtronic and pharmacies trying to get the prescriptions filled for the correct insulin needed to go back onto good ol injections...lol I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas on Lantus and Novolog injections while checking my sugar every hour....the vegie dish and the meat and cheese dish came in handy for Christmas....lol Not fun but it made me realize how much I appreciate the opportunity to use the insulin pump. I dont think I could go back to injections indefinitely!!! :)
