Ok, here is revision #4... lol My main focus is the rail yard. It will have 8 rails for storage, a MOW yard to the left side of the main yard, roundhouse, repair shop, refueling station, and plenty of diesel parking. The rest of the layout will be operated on three main lines. Line #1 will pass by mountains, streams, pond, roundhouse, and have about 5 tunnels. Lines #2 and #3 will be elevated for 50% of the route. The entire bottom section of the layout, plus both ends will be covered with mountains and hills. There will be plenty of access doors to reach all the tunnels. The top right section will be the pond. My last layout had a pond it it turned out fantastic, so im doing it again. The far right side will be local business, residential, and industry. the same will go for the upper left section of the layout. Left side of the main table above the MOW yard, will be an Amtrak station. Ill still be adding more sidings as time goes by, and Ill be adding all the crossovers to get all three lines access to each other and yards. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, i can get to Home Depot for my next lumber run to complete the 10 X 12 expansion to the existing bench work.
