Ok here is the update on the Tsunami watch in Costa Rica from the earthquake in Chile. It is predicted to hit here some time around 11pm local time tonight. They dont think it will be a big deal here. We will know more in the next hour or so. Yes, I am at about 4 feet above sea level as I sit on the couch glued to the TV and computer. I am 200 meters from the sea. Luckily low tide occurs at 952 local time so that adds about 2 feet of elevation and another 75 meters of distance. I am going to go to bed, set my alarm and get up and sit on the upper balcony holding a surfboard and wearing my snorkel and mask. haha ***UPDATE- all warnings and watches have been cancelled.
