Ok heres my piece for what its worth this Tuesday morning!! I want to talk about the government and the following: Housing crisis, water charges, property tax, cuts to senior citizens telephone service (sometimes their only lifeline), cuts to education, cuts to health care, abolishing of the one parent tax incentive for the second parent purely cause the child is not resident with the other parent full time, appeal after appeal when refused a social welfare payment simply because they can refuse, rent caps lowered making it near impossible to get somewhere to call home, no apparent plan to move us out of the clutches of austerity, selling off our natural resources, not passing legislation to help people who are in mortgage distress keep their family homes... All that is to name but a few.. All of that is the reality that this government have heaped on us all over the past number of years!! Now heres the thing, there was alternatives given to them, there was a different approach shown to them time and time again!! Sinn Féin fully costed our alternative budget which recognised the country was on its knees but had a more all rounded way of producing the monies needed.. Our way was a fairer way!! Our way was sharing the burden not heaping it on the already heavily burdened in society!! Our way was the right way!! Remember all this when the come knocking your doors, remember this when one will blame the other.. Remember that these parties throughout their terms in government implemented austerity on us all!! Dont let them fool you again, dont let their election promises change your mind!! Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me!! Stop these in their tracks, hit them where it will resound loudly!! Get them out, give change a chance!! Vote for your Sinn Féin Candidates in the locals and in Europe. On May 23rd show the government enough is enough!! For a local voice on local issue and a change thats needed throughout the island of Ireland vote Janice Boylan number 1.. Thank you 👍
