Ok, its my third and final day of my thankfulness task. Thank you again to Clare Hall-Taylor for nominating me. Heres my last 3: 1. My job - I bloody love my job! Whats not to love, I get paid to wear Lycra?! Starting work at Sweaty Betty 1.5 years ago was the final piece in the jigsaw and it should be me paying them and not the other way round. It truly has been the making of me and I love every second from walking in the door, albeit usually late, till I leave having sized and spaced, in my own little OCD heaven. Thank you to Jo Ball for getting the hiring spot on and introducing me to my Sweaty Betty family. Marlow Betties, past and present, both two and four legged, I love you all and have made friends for life. Cat Bellamy and Kerry Sweetingham-Clarke I dont know what Id do without your love, laughter, help, guidance, leniency, patience and understanding. I do know that Id be a great deal richer without all that on line shopping!! Roll on more Dolly dress up and Funday Thursday! 2. A sense of humour - lord knows Ive needed one! Laughter truly is the best medicine of all. Having a bloody good laugh at yourself, with yourself and with the world does you so much good. Whether with your family, your friends or complete strangers, it does wonders for the soul. So laugh long and hard, till your sides ache and tears of hilarity run down your face. Every cloud had a silver lining, you just have to be able to see it. 3. Genevieve Whipp - ever since I first clapped eyes on this small, smiley person, covered from head to foot in fur in the corridors of Rupert House over 10 years ago, Then asked so beautifully if either of my children had stolen one of their billiard balls, after our first play date at Fairways Lodge, I knew Id found my friend for life. Heres to growing old disgracefully, turbans, kaftans, mobility scooters with raccoon tails and the Post Office. You are my person and my BFF. Thank god we found each other! That is all my gushing over and done with and today I nominate Francoise Corn, Jane Butler and Stephanie Corn. Over and out x
