Ok, just to give everyone a heads up. Yesterday when we went to the neurologist we found out what is going on with Alyssa. We seen Dr. Eggers, he said she had hemorrhaging behind her eyes and he diagnosed her with what is called a Pseudotumor cerebi. This is a condition in which the pressure inside the skull is increased. The brain is affected in a way that the condition appears to be - but is not - a tumor. The cause is unknown. Dr. Eggers is doing surgery September 2nd in Evansville at Gateway. We have to be there at 6am that morning and she will be staying overnight. All prayers are greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!! I know God has this and his will be done...... My faith is strong and I have yet to question why. But I will say that I am very emotional and physically drained. Thanks in advance for the prayers and I will continue to update as I get more information.
