Ok ladies and Gents my rant for today. I am sick of this whole purist BS between fly fisherman and gear fisherman. I am a fly fisherman by choice. Not that I think its un holy to use a piece of meat or lures I just enjoy fly fishing over gear. I guide fly fisherman its kinda my thing. I grew up in the commercial fishing industry and caught plenty of fish on gear. Even now all my saltwater fishing is gear fishing. Im sick of the battle between the two. Fly fishing purists saying gear is barbaric. And gear guys saying fly fishing is stupid. And for god sakes people if you want to kill a fish and eat it its ok. Were all in the same sport here. Lets try to get along. Ok rant over.
