Ok lads and ladies, Im stuck and I really need some advice before I start throwing things. When I purchased my mk1 the seller gave me a full set of bolts, nuts, washers and bushes for the complete suspension. I have removed all the old bushes, all parts have been cleaned up and ready for the new bushes. Now either these are the wrong type of bush or theres something that I havent tried. As you can see I am trying to install them in the trunion on the bottom of the vertical link. I have tried everything I can think of and I still cant get them in. Placing the two parts in the trunion is simple but when it comes to getting the metal link its a no no. I would be very grateful for any advice or confirmation that these are the wrong bushes.
