Ok my SA music scene friends: election related public announcement. If youe thinking about casting your vote in the state election on Saturday, Id like to point out a few of my observations: I think the govt in the last few years has made a great and genuine attempt at meaningfully and respectfully engaging the contemporary music sector, such that in my opinion soem real advancements have been made. This is obviously largely due to the hard work and initiative within the sector, but I think that having a geneuinely interested government is no small part of that and has added greatly to the air of positivity that we currently have. So before you conder casting a vote to change the government maybe just pause to think about some of the progress that has been made recently; it seems to me there is a risk that it could all be for naught under an old money Liberal Government wholl look after their mates. (So vote for Labor or the Greens)
