Ok need quick help as Im at store now. 5 month old Weim growing too fast on Kirkland signatures grain free salmon and sweet potato all lifestages. Just had X-rays done as shes been really tender in her hips. X-rays show growth plates are inflamed. Making her sore. Vet said find similar food, salmon and sweet potato, but for a large breed puppy. I did a lot of looking at dog foods before we purchased her and Im pretty confident that does not exist. I was hoping that would look at ingredients and make some suggestions at what protein, fat, and... Levels should be at. But he just was more worried about similar ingredients. So far Ive been told to look at Kirkland signature large breed dog to help lower the protein levels... Thoughts and suggestions please! :)
