Ok,ok I know that the last post was kinda heavy. So heres something light. IRANIAN TELEVISION ACTUALLY SHOWED AN INSTRUMENTAL CONCERT. The Iranian state has allowed the population to see actual musical instruments on tv after 31 years. Ever since Ayatollah Khomeini declared music and its instruments,tools of satan ,well as we say in Trinidad ..it was pressahhh! They softened it to only traditional musicafter Khomeini kicked the kick drum so to speak. They allowed musicians faces to be seen but not the dreaded instruments. So one would see a tabla player but the tabla was blocked by two three potted plants,and if it was someone taking a solo,they would show flowers and butterflies. In other words,a trap set mans trap set ,might be blocked off by four to five pitch oil tins of fever grass and some crotons that they rent from undercover vegetables. The big headache is,Iranian Panorama finals,cause all they could show is Boogsie or Smallie dancing on the western side of the stage. If they only show one pan two days ago, some tv producer making a jail right now. The authorities say that its the musicians who asked for their faces to be shown so that people could see the feeling that they put into their instruments and not show the tools of trade. But dont feel things falling apart in Iran. Nooo! They still have a ban on women singers performing at concerts with men in the audience . So breds if you have a beef with the Iranian Destra,jes wait til she start she show and step een the auditorium .....Is jail in Destra tail. In other words Trini . Why allyuh playing de arse and killing one another so? Daiz the real message.
