Ok, people!! Do you have any idea about how excited I am about Petchu and Vanessa weekend in Seattle? There is a reason why everyone calls him Master Petchu. He is THE Kizomba/ Semba MASTER!!! This is a rare opportunity to learn Kizomba and semba with the full picture, from the root. And what makes his weekend even more special for us?? We are celebrating Kizomba Seattle group 5th anniversary!!! YES!!! You read it right!! 5th anniversary!! It has been 5 years since I started meeting with Dennis Richards close to Gasworks Park for some Kizomba. I used to take my 5 month son to our meetings where he would stay in his stroller watching us dancing. Dennis, we should have taken a picture! :))) I can not thank everyone enough for making this group such an amazing dancing family. My big thanks go to everyone that believed in me and supported me from the beginning, and also to the new members that keep the ball rolling and make this group such an amazing community. Special thanks to those who dedicated so much time and investing in learning and teaching Kizomba and organizing events and DJing to help the group grow: Ari, Frances Tee, Dennis Richards, Jay, Richards, Century Ballroom, Alison, Kevin, Danny, Israel, Maurycy, Sheena, Enzou, Mary, Neph, Isaias. (Hopefully I didnt forget anyone) Thank you so much, Frances Tee for bringing Petchu! PS - This is a very important date for the group and specially for me, not only we will be celebrating the groups anniversary, we are going to celebrate it with the Kizomba Master.
