Ok peoples, I now have the finalised details for the rally.....same date being the 26 TH October.....1 pm start and will most likely run until 3 pm....venue is the Horsham Showgrounds after careful consideration this is the best venue logistically. Plenty of parking and room to move. We really need this spread far and wide to have a full effect and raise awareness as this is most likely our last roll of the dice given the past few days events. Our M.C for this is Dave Kramer the head of the Future Fish, 3AW fishing show host in conjunction with Paul Worsteling and great ambassador for all anglers not only state but nation wide. Guest speaker yet to be confirmed but watch this space ! Also in attendance will be the Country Alliance Party headed up by Gary Kerr who currently sits in the upper house and is a passionate angler and avid supporter of our cause. Gary has fought, and won, many similar battles and has devoted many hours to this event form the beginning. At this point a press release is being put together and already I have had media outlets contacting me for info on the rally. One thing I ask is if someone within the group can create a event and issue invites to all group members ? I am working tirelessly in conjunction with Nat, my fiancé and we do need a hand as advertising, printing and a few other jobs need doing. If anyone can help please get on board. Another thing I ask is that local business owners are contacted and get involved as these guys also benefit greatly form tourism, accomodation,tackle shops, fuel, food, drinks, supermarkets,pubs etc.....so if you know anyone in these industries please get them involved or committed as this will effect them in the long run and they are the ones who will benefit on this weekend of the rally so it would be appreciated if the put a bit back.
