Ok, per Heather Carpenter s request, here are my 11 pet peeves. Like or Comment and Ill give you a number. 1. I do not like it when someone takes credit for something they didnt do, or doesnt give credit publicly to the person(s) who did the real work. 2. If you scream or curse at your child in public, I will glare at you until my eyes bleed. The same thing will happen if you let your child run wild, in public, let them crawl on other people or touch their things. 3. Im an environmentalist. I strongly dislike when people give me expensive, store-bought gifts. I wont reciprocate and then people get their feelings hurt. If youre giving a gift, give it because you WANT to, not to indebt someone to you and then remind them of it. 4. Please use the correct form of their, there, or theyre. UGH! 5. Dont litter! 6. Never come to my house or job without calling me first. Its rude. 7. Its not okay to touch people you dont already have a relationship with, without their express permission. Dont rub pregnant womens bellies, or hug strangers. 8. If I see you treating an animal in any manner that I find cruel or disrespectful, I will think about shooting and field dressing you and my expression will clearly demonstrate that. If you go overboard, I will say something, take pictures, and report you to the authorities. 9. Please be courteous in traffic. There is nothing more annoying than someone who passes you, cuts you off getting in front of you, then goes slower than you were originally going. 10. Dont assume that other people are the same religion as you, or that your religion is the ONLY way to contact a higher power and live a moral life. Dont bother worrying about my soul, or well being. My religion works great for me. And, PLEAsE, do not try to convince me that Im wrong or that my path will cause some kind of horrible end for me (I dont believe in Hell, by the way, so that threat holds no energy). 11. Dont tell a total stranger (like me) your entire life story in a checkout line. Its embarrassing for everyone.
