Ok put on your thinking caps. What sort of industry would be served by a switchback and a marine rail ? I have an idea for a switchback dropping a total of 4 inches from a mountain down to a port and am trying to think of an industry that would be served by such a setup. Perhaps a gold mine ? With small mine cars filled with gold nuggets and a bulk loaded ship spilling over with gold ? Something that would be served by ore cars made by Atlas (I think they are 70 ton cars). It doesnt have to be prototypical. I am thinking more fun than prototypical. So what ideas do you have ? Dont be shy share!
