Whew. I am officially calling for a Mulligan (free do over) for 2015. The year sure started out horrid. First one of the puppy adoptions fell through, then the worst - a group of so called self proclaimed rescue alliance people trashed our very own beloved Tina Hurst for doing the right thing by OUR puppies that they want to take to sell, that the stress caused Tina to have a stroke. She is home from the hospital now, but has a long and uncertain recovery in front of her. This Oh so compassionate group actually had the nerve to say she brought it on herself by not sticking to the deal they tried to force on her after the fact. (Sigh.) All the while, Jules was getting worse, and yesterday I had to make the worst decision any rescue can make. If that was the first 3 days, I want to sleep for the next 362. But finally today, April adopted our last little princess, our first adoption of the year, and I couldnt be more thrilled to have been blessed with such a terrific new mom for my granddog. Therefore, can today be Jan 1 please? Happy New Year!
