Ok, so I know we are out of school, so no more teaching, right? Well, wrong!! The following medley, while it might not put you in the holly jolly spirit of the season, certainly demonstrates something we talked about in band class a few weeks back, and that is the difference in major keys (happy) and minor keys (sad). You will hear The Little Drummer Boy, Jingle Bells, and Silent Night all performed in a minor key and they will sound very different than how you usually hear them. It is a short excerpt, so increase your brain cells and take a listen.
