Ok, so I take Lynn Lanier to Urgent Care in Rockmart Saturday afternoon. She has had severe pain and swelling in her lower left leg since Wednesday. Doctor does an X-Ray and says something is showing up, a spot and the bone looks abnormal. He seems very concerned and says we need to follow up with an Orthopedic Dr. Monday. He says he doesnt know what is wrong, but something is definitely wrong with the bone. So, most of you know Lynns history from 2001, yes its gone but you always worry about it coming back. We are concerned, we are really praying hard and doing some real one on one with God over the restless weekend. We go to North Georgia Bone & Joint this morning. Thanks Missy Godfrey Pruitt! They do an X-Ray, Doctor looks it over, we are on pins and needles. I kid you not.....just as Dr. Burnett comes in the room....Lynns cell phone starts ringing, her ring tone is Our God is an Awesome God! Folks Im not making this up....I got Jesus bumps...Dr. says, quit worrying, Nothing is showing up on the x-ray, I think its just some inflammation around the bone. We can treat this with some meds, ice, rest and elevation. WOW, Our God is AWESOME!!!! Oh, by the way Happy Birthday Lynn, I love you.
