Ok so Im gonna be the bubbler burster here on this whole ice bucket challenge thing. Im gonna just go ahead n say that I will not be participating or donating to the ALS. Not b/c Im an asshole who doesnt care. But because Im not gonna just follow some trend without researching it 1st. N from what Ive found, the ALS has not been making any progress in finding safe effective cures or treatments. They also do a lot of animal testing/torture which is something I cannot support. N if we were to follow the $ trail Im sure wed probably find that it is just another industry, taking advantage of sick ppl, just like the cancer industry n scamming ppl into donating $ that will never be put to good use. So I challenge everybody to research before u donate to any organization, n to choose one that is really helping ppl. I will instead be looking for another organization to donate to that ik is actually helping ppl n does not abuse ppl or animals :-)
